Friday 2nd September 2016 saw the launch of Cape Town Pass at Hotel Verde, Africa’s Greenest Hotel. Partners and tourism delegates attended for the revealing of the platform that is designed for convenience for local and international travellers visiting Cape Town, and to showcase the best of the regions offerings.
Cape Town Pass is a convenient way to experience the city’s attractions with an all access pass that can be downloaded to your mobile app, or delivered to your hotel or even your home or office. It eliminates the need for spending time searching for attractions and standing in queues for tickets. Detailed information on the attractions is provided in the app, as well as GPS navigation for enhanced convenience.
Keynote speaker, MEC Alan Winde believes that this is a platform that can take us into the Better Together space, while CEO of WESGRO , Tim Harris looks forward to using the Cape Town Pass to show more tourists the beauty of our province. Harris also says that “putting all of the attractions on one platform is a very useful way of ensuring better collaboration in the sector, making sure we’re all working as one Cape tourism team.
